Get The Look: Ashley Benson

Like most when watching television I look for; murder (obviously), fraught engagements, teens with too much money, a wrong medical diagnosis, a father playing his children against each other for light entertainment, an older woman sleeping with younger men. If you look for the same, you should be watching Pretty Little Liars. It will give you anxiety but it’s something worth dedicating entire Sunday hangovers too. Pretty Little Liars is about the disappearance of queen bee Alison; Ashley Benson plays the role of Hanna Marin a member of the Rosewood clique. Hanna is a sweet and sassy character whose interest is shopping.

Ashley Benson, both on and off-screen, has hair envied by many. Celebrity hairstylist Sarah Potempa is here to show you to achieve the latest in celebrity hair; work a classy sleek beach-wave ponytail, or a fun and fabulous beach-wave with a half-up fishtail.

Beachwaves + half up fishtail:

1. Start by sectioning your hair and bringing all of it forward to the left and the right. Using the Darby clip, section hair up and start curling at the bottom. 2. Pull half of the hair up and separate into two sections. Then take a small piece from the right section and bring it over and add it to the left. Then take a small piece from the left section and bring it over and add it to the right.

Sleek Beachwaved Ponytail:

1. Create a clean middle part.

2. Start by sectioning your hair and bringing all of it forward to the left and the right. Using the Darby clip, section hair up and start curling at the bottom. To create the perfect waves, use the Beachwaver S1. It is a rotating curling iron that goes in both directions to give you gorgeous Ashley Benson waves!

3. Add a matte pomade, like fatboy, and smooth the front sections down by coming them behind the ear. Spray the onset styling brush with a flexible hairspray and brush hair into a low ponytail.
