If, like me, you thought that bananas were just for eating then you’re very much mistaken. As well as being 1 of your 5 a day bananas have some pretty major beauty benefits too. They’re rich in potassium and vitamin A which both help to keep skin moisturised. They have been known to help fade dark spots and pigmentation over time, and also to control acne breakouts and slow down the signs of aging. If that wasn’t enough, bananas also help to keep hair nourished and shiny.
